Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Manage audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Optimize accounting systems and financial workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience, with 3+ in controller role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-currency transactions
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong strategic financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Experience in financial services or investment management preferred
