Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/quarter-end close processes with 48-hour turnaround
- Oversee GL operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS)
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Manage $100M+ investment portfolio accounting and valuation
- Drive process automation initiatives using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
Qualifications
- CPA/CMA certification required with 7+ years in public accounting/finance
- Expertise in hedge fund/private equity accounting and SEC reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query/Pivot) and ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 5+ professionals
- Strong understanding of derivative instruments and valuation methodologies
- Proven track record of optimizing financial operations and reducing costs
