Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/quarter-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Manage SOX compliance and internal controls documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Optimize accounting systems and implement process improvements
- Directly supervise 3-5 accounting professionals
- Prepare board-level financial presentations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience managing teams and complex financial projects
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with multinational consolidations and intercompany transactions
