Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain complex pricing models and quantitative risk management strategies.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on large financial datasets to identify market inefficiencies and alpha opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production trading systems.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to ensure portfolio resilience across volatile market conditions.
- Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and market trends to provide actionable intelligence to senior leadership.
- Automate reporting workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial monitoring.
- Mentor junior analysts on technical methodologies and best practices in quantitative research.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative research or financial modeling within a banking or hedge fund environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, or C++ for financial computation.
- Deep understanding of stochastic calculus, time-series analysis, and econometrics.
- Proven expertise in SQL and managing large datasets (Big Data technologies are a plus).
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex analytical findings into strategic business advice.
