Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee all corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Direct the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and standardized accounting procedures.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax compliance efforts to mitigate corporate risk.
- Provide actionable financial analysis to the executive leadership team to drive business growth.
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure continuous operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
