Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with rigorous accuracy
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Manage financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely regulatory filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in a controller role
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Experience in financial services or investment management industry
