Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of general accounting, including month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidations.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with company-wide strategic goals.
- Design and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure audit readiness.
- Manage treasury functions, cash flow analysis, and capital allocation strategies.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and relationships with external auditors and banking partners.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team to foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Provide detailed financial variance analysis to the CFO and key stakeholders to inform operational decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Active CPA license required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Expert-level proficiency in GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Strong technical expertise in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Proven ability to streamline financial reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing and scaling finance departments.
