Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including board-level presentations and SEC filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and strategic opportunities
- Manage cross-departmental budgeting and forecasting processes
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals through performance development and mentoring
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and M&A activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification required
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in public accounting and corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 5+ professionals
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
- Experience in multinational financial operations preferred
