Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Lead financial statement preparation and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage budget forecasting and variance reporting initiatives
- Spearhead SOX compliance audits and process improvements
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals through mentorship and development
- Optimize financial systems and reporting infrastructure
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to operational excellence
- Experience in financial services or investment management
