Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly/quarterly close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Manage accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
- Mentor and develop the accounting team through performance management and training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and due diligence
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analysis tools
- Strong background in multi-entity accounting and consolidations
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and developing talent
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred
- Experience in fintech or professional services industry highly valued
