Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Oversee financial reporting, including SEC filings and internal management reports
- Manage and mentor a team of 5+ accounting professionals
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Drive process improvements in accounting systems and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Proven expertise in month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex financial data
