Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Lead financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Manage team of 5+ accounting professionals through mentorship and strategic delegation
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and risk mitigation protocols
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation and analysis
- Drive continuous process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years in public accounting/finance
- Expertise in SEC reporting and complex financial instruments
- Proven leadership managing cross-functional finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and financial software
- MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
- Experience in asset management or private equity a major plus
