Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Lead financial reporting and analysis for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 accounting professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ in a leadership role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Proven experience managing teams and fostering professional development
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
