You will play a pivotal role in shaping our internal controls, managing high-level audits, and providing the executive leadership team with the data required to scale operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless execution of annual audits and tax filings.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and financial performance reports to the CFO and executive board.
- Optimize accounting workflows through the implementation of advanced ERP and automation tools.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of staff accountants and junior controllers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting (Big 4 background a plus).
- Deep proficiency in GAAP regulations and technical accounting research.
- Expert-level capability with ERP software (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting speed and accuracy.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into business strategy.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional finance teams.
