Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including SEC filings and executive dashboards
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage audit processes and relationships with external auditors
- Drive process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in public accounting or multinational corporations preferred
