Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/year-end close processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and risk mitigation
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams during audits and regulatory examinations
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting methodologies
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
- Mentor junior finance professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA required)
- 8+ years progressive experience in public accounting and corporate finance
- Expertise in SEC reporting and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analytics tools
- Proven track record leading complex financial operations and audits
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to C-suite executives
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
