Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with SOX compliance oversight
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior finance professionals and optimize team workflows
- Lead system implementations (ERP, BI tools) and process automation
- Prepare executive dashboards and board-level financial presentations
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency and ERP system expertise (SAP/Oracle)
- SOX compliance and public company reporting experience
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; MBA or Master's preferred
- Experience managing cross-functional finance teams (5+ direct reports)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategy
- Proven track record in process improvement and cost optimization
