Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure strict adherence to GAAP standards.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insightful variance analysis to senior leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and implement sophisticated financial policies to optimize cash flow and operational efficiency.
- Manage external audit relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Expertise in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
