In this pivotal role, you will oversee all corporate accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance activities. You will act as a key business partner to the leadership team, providing deep analytical insights that drive firm-wide profitability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including GL maintenance, AP/AR, and payroll.
- Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and external audit processes.
- Optimize cash flow management and treasury operations for the organization.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to executive management.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- Active CPA certification is strictly required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the financial services or investment sector.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and high-level Excel modeling.
- Deep understanding of technical accounting, GAAP regulations, and tax implications.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and tight reporting deadlines.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing professional teams.
