Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable cycles.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee tax filing, treasury management, and audit activities with external partners.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of junior accountants and analysts.
- Implement advanced financial software solutions to optimize budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the executive board and key stakeholders.
- Ensure robust internal controls and risk management policies are strictly maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
