Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and standardized accounting policies.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory filings, and annual audits in collaboration with external partners.
- Analyze financial variances and provide executive summaries to drive operational efficiency.
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Collaborate with department heads to manage budgeting and long-term financial planning.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to ensure professional excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Deep expertise in GAAP/IFRS standards and financial consolidation.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven track record of streamlining financial processes and improving reporting accuracy.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High integrity with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
