Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions with an eye for process automation.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax filings, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate operational risk and safeguard corporate assets.
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts and variance analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team to foster a culture of excellence and accuracy.
- Optimize cash flow management and liquidity strategies to support business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and local/federal tax regulations.
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes and reducing financial close cycles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into business narratives.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing remote or cross-functional teams.
