Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP, AR, and Payroll.
- Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk.
- Manage the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison for tax and regulatory filings.
- Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding capital allocation and budget optimization.
- Mentor and lead the accounting department to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
