Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee all corporate accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Direct the annual budgeting and forecasting process, partnering with department heads to manage operational spend.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and internal controls to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to the CFO to support long-term strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
