Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and general ledger management.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Drive internal control improvements and maintain rigorous compliance standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual filings and audits.
- Perform deep-dive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by the executive team.
- Mentor and manage the junior accounting staff to foster professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Proven ability to streamline financial reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
