Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Direct financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Maintain internal control systems and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Oversee treasury management and optimize cash flow performance.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and business performance reporting to stakeholders.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax filing preparations.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct preferred).
- Advanced data modeling skills using Microsoft Excel and BI tools.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial executives.
- Strong background in audit and tax compliance.
- Exceptional leadership and change management capabilities.
