We're seeking a visionary Senior Financial Controller to oversee all accounting functions and drive financial strategy for our growing portfolio of investment funds. What You'll Achieve: Lead month-end/quarter-end close processes, implement robust internal controls, and optimize financial reporting systems. You'll mentor a team of 5+ accountants and serve as the primary liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and fixed assets
- Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio valuation and risk analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and strategic forecasting processes
- Ensure SOX compliance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Present financial insights to executive leadership and board committees
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities
- Mentor finance team through professional development programs
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven experience managing multi-currency transactions and international operations
- Expertise in fund accounting and SEC reporting requirements
- Strong leadership background with team management experience
- Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or MBA preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data
