Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including SEC filings and investor communications
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Manage audit processes and collaborate with external auditors
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and business development
- Lead financial system implementations and process improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA required
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in leadership
- Expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial modeling
- Proven track record in managing complex financial operations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with cross-functional collaboration experience
- Experience in financial services or investment management preferred
