- Oversee all accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger operations.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax compliance filings.
- Partner with the executive team to prepare annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and actionable insights to drive business profitability.
- Mentor and develop the junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strictly required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Expertise in ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into executive-level strategic narratives.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
