Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end close processes for 15+ client portfolios
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring SOX/GAAP compliance
- Lead financial forecasting and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Manage team of 3 accountants including performance reviews and training
- Optimize accounting systems implementation (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise)
- Prepare complex financial statements and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with audit teams and resolve technical accounting issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 8+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing finance teams in professional services
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
