Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Lead financial analysis projects supporting strategic decision-making for C-suite clients
- Manage accounting operations for 15+ portfolio companies using NetSuite and advanced Excel modeling
- Mentor junior accounting staff through structured training programs and performance reviews
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license required
- 8+ years progressive experience in public accounting and corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, BlackLine, and financial modeling tools
- Demonstrated success in scaling accounting operations for high-growth companies
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and multi-state tax regulations
- CIA or CMA certification preferred
- Strong leadership experience managing teams of 3+ professionals
