Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed variance analysis to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain robust internal control frameworks.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions.
- Oversee tax filing requirements and ensure strict adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team to optimize departmental productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial modeling, and consolidation processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and developing teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
