Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts, budget analysis, and variance reports for the executive team.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team to foster professional growth and operational excellence.
- Lead strategic initiatives for financial system upgrades and automation improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or controller capacity.
- Expert-level proficiency in GAAP principles and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced technical skills in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and automate financial workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
