Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Manage financial reporting for stakeholders including investors and board members
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Drive process improvements in accounting systems and workflows
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation and risk assessment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA required)
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with 5+ in leadership
- Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong background in investment portfolio accounting and valuation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams
- Experience in high-growth financial services environment
