Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure strict compliance with GAAP.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and forecasting to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee internal audit processes and ensure robust internal controls are in place.
- Manage external auditor relationships and tax compliance filings.
- Develop and implement financial policies to optimize operational workflows.
- Lead and mentor the accounting department to foster professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory financial requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive summaries.
- Experience in private equity or financial services sectors is a strong plus.
