Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead financial audits, compliance initiatives, and internal controls implementation
- Develop and maintain accounting policies aligned with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance functions
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive team development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP) and MS Excel
- Proven experience managing audits and implementing internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience in SaaS or technology industry highly preferred
