Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement strategic financial models to support M&A activities and investment decisions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for $500M+ assets under management
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and evolving SEC reporting requirements
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to drive financial strategy and operational improvements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
- Mentor finance team members and optimize departmental workflows
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years progressive finance experience in investment banking or private equity
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and capital allocation strategies
- Proven track record leading SOX compliance and financial reporting initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analytics tools
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate data into actionable business insights
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA preferred
