Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadline adherence
- Design and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Manage financial reporting systems and process automation initiatives
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with tax authorities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in controller role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization experience
- Proven track record in process optimization and team leadership
- Experience with multi-currency and international accounting
