Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and ensure GAAP compliance
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Manage accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Drive process improvements through automation and system optimization
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- CPA certification required with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
- 3+ years in controller or senior management role
- Expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in fintech or regulated financial services industry
