Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strict attention to deadlines and accuracy
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and financial integrity
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including consolidated statements, board presentations, and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Manage and mentor a team of 5-7 accounting professionals
- Drive process improvements through automation and technological innovation
- Act as primary liaison for external audits and regulatory examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA required)
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in senior leadership
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multinational accounting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Proven track record in managing complex financial operations and teams
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
