Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including SEC filings and management dashboards
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze variance reports and provide strategic insights to senior leadership
- Manage SOX compliance audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with public company exposure
- Expertise in SEC reporting, consolidation, and intercompany transactions
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot/VBA)
- Proven track record leading SOX 404 compliance programs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
