Are you a strategic finance leader looking to make a high-impact move? Summit Capital Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller to oversee our core accounting operations and drive financial health across our growing investment portfolio.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our fiscal strategy, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring absolute regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee all corporate accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Manage external audit engagements and ensure strict compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and internal control frameworks.
- Prepare comprehensive financial analysis and management reports for the Executive Board.
- Direct cash flow forecasting and liquidity management strategies.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of junior accountants and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building and managing successful finance teams.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-stakes environment.
