Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Direct all accounting operations including G/L, A/P, A/R, and payroll.
- Oversee tax compliance, filings, and treasury management functions.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Manage external audit relationships and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support executive leadership team.
- Mentor and scale a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the fintech or SaaS sector.
- Deep expertise in GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proven experience with ERP implementations (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of team development.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
