Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Lead and mentor a team of 5+ accounting professionals through performance development
- Design and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Drive process automation initiatives using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Manage external audits and regulatory compliance (GAAP/SEC)
- Present financial insights to stakeholders through executive dashboards
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and financial reporting tools
- Proven experience managing SOX compliance and internal audits
- Expertise in multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
- Strong leadership background with team development success
- MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or retail finance highly desirable
