Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Lead financial reporting and analysis for 15+ client portfolios
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Manage tax preparation, audits, and regulatory filings
- Mentor 3+ junior accountants and process improvements
- Partner with CFO to forecast budgets and strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Proven track record of improving financial operations
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license mandatory
