Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and forecasting to drive budget-to-actual improvements across all business units.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
- Collaborate with department heads to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in external audits and internal control reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial planning within a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
