Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal merchandising strategies that align with brand vision and financial targets.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels across global channels.
- Collaborate closely with Design and Product Development teams to ensure collections meet market needs and price point requirements.
- Lead regional assortment planning, ensuring the right product mix is available at the right time for diverse consumer demographics.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycles, from initial concept briefing to markdown strategies and end-of-season reporting.
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate production timelines to ensure seamless delivery schedules.
- Present quarterly performance reviews and strategic roadmaps to executive leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in retail merchandising or buying, specifically within the fashion or luxury sector.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and driving significant year-over-year revenue growth.
- Expertise in retail math, financial modeling, and advanced Excel functions for data analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring high-performing merchandising teams.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to translate emerging trends into commercially viable products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
