Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead the conceptualization and strategic planning of corporate conferences, product launches, and galas, aligning them with client objectives and brand identity.
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with a diverse range of suppliers, including venues, caterers, AV technicians, and creative agencies.
- Budget Control: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability while delivering high-impact experiences within financial constraints.
- On-Site Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact on event days, overseeing logistics, floor plans, and on-site operations to ensure flawless execution.
- Team Coordination: Mentor and manage a team of junior coordinators and interns, providing training and performance feedback.
- Crisis Management: Anticipate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate issues before and during events.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in events management, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Bizzabo) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-level executives and diverse stakeholders.
- Organization: Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and off-site events.
