Responsibilities
- Design and execute 15-20 high-profile events annually (500-2000 attendees) from concept to post-event analysis
- Manage $500K+ event budgets with meticulous financial oversight and vendor negotiations
- Lead cross-functional teams including creative, production, and marketing stakeholders
- Develop innovative event concepts leveraging emerging technologies (AR/VR, interactive installations)
- Build and maintain relationships with premium venue partners and exclusive vendors
- Implement data-driven event strategies with post-event ROI reporting for clients
- Mentor junior event coordinators through structured training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience managing corporate/luxury events (minimum 500 attendees)
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in budget management ($250K+ events) and contract negotiation
- Proven crisis management skills with ability to troubleshoot on-site
- Strong proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ complex event case studies with measurable outcomes
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder communication abilities
