Key Duties
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences.
- Manage the entire event lifecycle, including budget creation, vendor negotiation, venue selection, and on-site supervision to ensure seamless delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their vision is realized while exceeding expectations.
- Supervise and mentor junior event staff and creative teams, conducting regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential issues during events.
- Analyze post-event feedback and data to measure success and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep our events fresh and competitive.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event management or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior capacity.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities, with a robust network of industry contacts.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances or last-minute requests.
- Relevant degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Event Management is preferred.
